The day before yesterday Jim Berry called and told me there were two adult whales and a baby just offshore from our Punta Penca. Then last night I saw this story about a baby whale tangled in a net out by the Catalina Islands (also nearby):
I wonder if it was the same whales? Don't worry, there is a happy ending. Two boat loads of people helped free the whale from the lines!
