Newsletter - Come and Visit

Yesterday we sent out a electronic newsletter and I thought I'd post it here as well.   I must say it is very gratifying to   be seeing our vision become reality!

Five years ago, as we were preparing to buy the land named Las Catalinas, I wrote a description of a day in the life of the Las Catalinas of the future.   That essay became one of the main tools we used to communicate the  vision  of what we hoped to create at Las Catalinas.   In it I described the pleasures of...

• waking up in a  beautiful seaside town,
• walking down to the beach for an  early morning kayak,
• stopping by a  shop  for fresh baked goods,
• returning  home  for breakfast,
• my  family  scattering to a variety of outdoor activities,
• walking over for an enjoyable seaside lunch withfriends  at a restaurant,
• drifting to  sleep  on my porch,
• hiking  up to the high ground with my wife for sunset,
• dinner at home,
• and afterwards a  sociable walk around townvisiting with friends.

WELL, IT HAS HAPPENED. MY DREAM DAY IS NOW A REALITY.  After five years of work that place and that experience have come to life.   Our initial group of houses frame  beautiful plazas and pedestrian streets.    Pura Vida Ride is offering top quality  kayaks, stand up paddle boards, bikes  and other outdoor gear,   the baked goods I envisioned so long ago, coffee, and other general store goods.  Our  restaurant offers the one of the most delicious, beautiful, and casually sociable seaside dining experiences you will ever experience.

Add it all up and Las Catalinas now offers something that is not available anywhere else in the new world tropics - the experience of a lively, walkable seaside town surrounded by breathtaking nature on land and at sea.
