Host Deborah Duncan was joined by Marika Flatt, travel editor for Texas Lifestyle Magazine, as they discussed both international and U.S. destinations for a holiday trip, including Colorado, Lubbock, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, Clearwater and St.Petersburg Florida, Savannah, Tuscany, Great Britain, a cruise touring Scandinavia, and Costa Rica.
Flatt recommended Costa Rica as the quintessential tropical getaway, commenting on the beauty of the country and focusing on Las Catalinas as a walkable destination to take in all that Costa Rica has to offer without ever needing to drive.
The hosts also focused on Costa Rica’s accessibility, highlighting that town was only a few short hours away from Houston via plane.
As Liberia International Airport continues to grow and add more flights from around the world, Las Catalinas will only become a more viable destination to visit. That means welcoming more friends experience town, which is always a good thing.
