Happy to share today that Aspen Sojourner magazine has featured Guanacaste Nights 2020 Chef Mawa McQueen, one of seven featured chefs that brought the second edition of town’s food festival to life.
The article, which focuses on three new restaurants at the Aspen Airport Business Center, highlights Chef McQueen’s Aspen history, the evolution of her culinary style, and her rise to becoming one of Aspen’s most noticeable chefs. The article then goes on to focus on Chef McQueen’s recent work and acknowledgements, including her inclusion in Toques in Black: A Celebration of Black Chefs and being selected among the seven chefs for the Guanacaste Nights 2020 food festival at Las Catalinas.
