Glenwood Park is the 28-acre new neighborhood in Atlanta that my partners and I developed starting back in 2001. It is the subject of the pilot episode of a new documentary series called American Makeover - about recreating the built environment into something more sustainable and healthy. The Congress of the New Urbanism is being held next month in Atlanta, and Glenwood Park is a noteworthy accomplishment in Atlanta. I think that's how we got to be the feature of this pilot. BTW for me Las Catalinas is the next step. Some of my friends call it the new new urbanism - pedestrian streets, using the topography to create privacy and great views, the beautiful natural environment. I think we are taking some of the accomplishments of new urbanism to a whole new level of delight, beauty, and wonderfulness.
