La Ruta Champ Paolo Montoya Visits Las Catalinas

Today we were honored to have 2012 La Ruta de los Conquistadores winner Paolo Montoya, visit Las Catalinas.  La Ruta is one of the most famous and difficult mountain bike stage races in the world.   It is held annually in Costa Rica and the route route follows the west to east route of the 16th Century Spanish Conquistador Juan de Caballon from the Pacific to the Atlantic.   This year's race, the 2oth anniversary, was held just the other day - November 1 to 3.   Paolo also won in 2004.  His father, Rodrigo Montoya won in 2002 and 2003.
