New Flights to Liberia from New York!

I'm a little slow on getting this news out, but JetBlue is joining the list of airlines flying to Liberia - just 23 miles from Las Catalinas.   Their initial flight is from New York JFK, starting November 17.   Fares from $139 one way!     The initiation of service will come shortly after the new terminal building in Liberia begins operating.   Hopefully this is the first of many new flights that will take advantage of the new facility - I suspect it will be.   Here is some more information from the press release:

JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq: JBLU) today is pleased to announce plans to add four weekly nonstop flights between  New York's John F.  Kennedy  International Airport (JFK) and  Liberia,  Costa Rica's Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) effective  November 17, 2011, subject to government approval.  Liberia, on the Pacific coast, will be JetBlue's second destination in  Costa Rica, in addition to  San Jose's Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO), which is served daily from Orlando International (MCO).
