Green Season is Great

I know I've said this before, but I can't help repeating myself.  It is just sooo nice here in Las Catalinas this time of year.  People from more northerly latitudes typically (and reasonably) think "Wow - it is hot where I am.  It must be really hot down in the Costa Rica."  Well, not so.  Mornings are typically calm and mainly sunny.  Temperature starts in the low or mid 70's.  Around mid-morning an onshore breeze kicks in - refreshing.  Later in the day there will probably be some clouds, and maybe some rain, but usually not.  High is about 85.

The main adjective that comes to mind for the climate this time of year is "gentle".  Not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, not too dry, not too wet.  For more details see my climate post from 2011.  The summer window of ideal weather goes from late June until about now.  Next year, don't miss it!

Cheers,

Charles
