*Diners Club International* covered the Santarena Hotel in its recent “Detour to Paradise” feature, highlighting four travel options ranging from Costa Rica to the coast of Europe. The magazine aims to provide the global citizen with a wide range of travel, dining, products, and services that are among the best the world has to offer.

The article, by Angela Sirch and titled *Abstecher in Paradies* in the original German release of the magazine, mentions the Archlight Cinema in London, the Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica in the Caribbean, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises on the Baltic and Atlantic coasts of Europe, and [Santarena Hotel](http://santarenahotel.com), offering a brief profile on each.

For Santarena, Sirch first touches on the town and surroundings of the hotel, highlighting the beauty and access to shops and sports provided by the Hotel’s position in Las Catalinas. Against this backdrop, Sirch captures the influences and interiors of the hotel, winding it down as a beautiful and elegant space in an interesting place.
